Took my wife to Southern Collective Spirit Company to do a tour and tasting for her birthday. We knew they didn’t distill in house so we weren’t exactly sure what to expect. We had the best time learning and chatting with Chris while he showed us around. We got to sample straight from the barrel and had the option to bottle our custom bottle from a barrel that we liked best. They made us feel as we were at a friend’s house having a drink. Lots of laughter and bonding over our love of bourbons. If you haven’t checked these guys out you need to make your way over to them. To the Marine we chatted with; I hope you get the promotion soon so you can crack that bottle open.
